This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Paul Koebbe KCØCBL: Aircraft mobile HF. Paul was first licensed in 1997 and has participated in multiple ARES events including bike rides. His primary interest is the technologies associated with the hobby and he has been a member of the SLSRC training group for the last 5 plus years. As part of his retirement, he found another adventure in aviation and volunteering at Wings Of Hope in July of 2019. As part of a current project the organization has going is to place an HF radio into an aircraft that is going to serve as a mission aircraft in South America. Paul will discuss the challenges of placing a radio into a flying platform.
