SLSRC *Winterfest* 2022 – Volunteers Needed

December 9, 2021…

Winterfest is fast approaching. Now is the time that we are gathering names of those who want to be included in the fun and volunteer at Winterfest. It is a big job but, as my grandmother used to say, many hands make light work. So, we need you. Please consider helping out by signing up for a volunteer shift.

The volunteer shifts are for Friday, January 21 and Saturday, January 22:

Set up

  • Friday 2PM – 5PM
  • Friday 5PM – 8PM
  • Saturday 5AM – 8AM

Take down

  • Saturday 4PM – 6PM (or until all vendors are gone)

Ticket sales

  • Saturday 6:30AM – 10AM
  • Saturday 10AM – 1PM
  • Saturday 1PM – 4PM

Door Personnel (stamping hands and checking admittance)

  • Saturday 7AM – 10AM
  • Saturday 10AM – 1PM
  • Saturday 1PM– 4PM

Miscellaneous Positions (needed throughout the day)

  • Photographer and/or Videographer
  • Floater (wherever you are needed)

Volunteers will be given free admittance in exchange for a 3-hour shift. All volunteers must be registered as volunteers with the Winterfest committee. When you register, please tell us the shift and position you are willing to work. You may take more than one shift. You must work the entire time you are scheduled to.

To register as a volunteer, you can visit our website and complete the online form: https://www.slsrc.org/contact-us/

Or email winterfest@slsrc.org to inform the Winterfest Committee that you would like to volunteer.

Please include your name, call sign, email address, and cell phone number along with which position and shift you are registering for.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Remember, many hands make light work.
