In spring of 2020 St Louis Suburban Radio Club conducted the first radio Equipment Grant program in the history of the club. The Program was well received and as a result equipment found new life with new owners. Once again in 2021, SLSRC has the opportunity to offer a Radio Equipment Grant to its members. An anonymous donor has provided a new DMR radio to be awarded via the grant program.
The Grant process this year will be similar to the process used for the 2020 Radio Equipment Grant Program.
The formal announcement of the opening of the Grant process will be made at a General Club Meeting. In this case, that will be at the April 23, 2021 meeting (being held online due to the COVID-19 issues). The announcement and application and timeline for submission will be posted on the Club website following the formal announcement.

Individual license holders can complete the Grant Application and submit it via email to the email shown on the application. (KC0CBL@SLSRC.ORG)
At the completion of the period allowed for Application submittals, all Applications will be assigned a Submittal Number and the cover sheet with personal identifying information will be removed. This will allow the Application reviewers to perform a blind review of all applications.
The Application Review Committee, as appointed by the Board, will review and score the applications based upon a specific scoring guideline which will be available on the SLSRC website.
Grant requestor must be a member in good standing with St. Louis Suburban Radio Club. The donor has requested that preference should be given to a relatively newly licensed amateur.
