SLSRC May 24th Meeting & Program

The program for the SLSRC Meeting on May 24th will be a presentation on “The Electric Car in Your Future” by Norman Guittar.  Norman has been interested in alternative energy since 1976.  In 1980 he designed and built a super-insulated solar house. That house was one of six homes featured by Mid America Solar in 1980. Norman has been following the development of electric cars since 2012. He has owned and driven an electric car since 2014. He is an active member of the Gateway Electric Vehicle Club and has been a presenter at a number of club meetings including Earth Day and Drive Electric events. Currently he is working with a group as the main resource for a new electric car TV program.

I encourage you to attend our meeting and take an opportunity to listen to Norman’s presentation on the electric car. Our meeting will be May 24th at 7:00 PM located at the Goldfarb School of Nursing, Rooms 419 & 420, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, 3005 North Ballas Road.   It is centrally located at the intersection of I-270 and I-64/US-40. Take the Ballas Road exit from Highway I-64/US-40 or I-270 and travel south one block. Turn right to enter the campus.
