| The St. Louis and Suburban Radio Club, Inc. (SLSRC) is a full-service, ARRL affiliated Amateur Radio Club and an ARRL Special Service Club. Since 1954 SLSRC has been a not-for-profit Missouri Corporation, and is a Federal 501(c)3 not-for-profit Corporation. SLSRC membership is open to any licensed amateur.
SLSRC membership offers:
- weekly 2-meter informal club net on the 146.850 repeater (141.3 CTCSS) at 8:00 PM each Tuesday
- regular monthly club meetings with programming of interest to Amateurs
- 8 area repeaters on - 52.850, 146.850, 146.910, 146.940, 146.970, 224.520, 442.100, and 443.075
- a yearly hamfest - WINTERFEST - one of the largest and best hamfests of the region each year in January
- a yearly Field Day located at The James S. McDonnald Park in Overland, MO at which the club sets up and operates as many modes and bands as possible for the enjoyment of its membership and visitors
- a commitment to Public Service through Amateur Radio including providing emergency and health & welfare communications for the Missouri MS Bike Ride, assisting with Fair St. Louis, and a variety of other public events in the region
- a commitment to Homeland Security through preparedness and the ability of the the club and its membership to provide reliable communications "When All Else Fails"
- and, a group of men, women and youth of all ages and ethnicity who simply love radio ...
- SLSRC dues are $25.00 per year per household. The dues covers all licensed amateurs who live permanently as part of the household. If this sounds a little like you, maybe you should consider joining SLSRC!
